Vanderbilt Football, Men's Basketball Move To WLAC

New Home For VU

VANDERBILT UNIVERSITY football and men's basketball broadcasts are moving to CLEAR CHANNEL Talk WLAC-A/NASHVILLE in a multi-year deal between the station and rights holder IMG COLLEGE.  The COMMODORES were formerly heard on CUMULUS Classic Hits WRQQ, which recently changed format to Contemporary Christian as WLVU (K-LOVE) under new owner EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION; baseball and women's basketball remain on crosstown SOUTHERN WABASH COMMUNICATIONS Sports WNSR-A.

DAVID WILLIAMS II said. “Due to the station’s strength of signal and commitment to carry all of our programming for football and men’s basketball, we have a tremendous opportunity to grow the footprint of VANDERBILT Athletics, both across the Middle TENNESSEE region and beyond.”
