CLEAR CHANNEL MEDIA + ENTERTAINMENT/PHILADELPHIA and Mayor MICHAEL A. NUTTER will team up to "talk trash" to clean up PHILADELPHIA. From August 6th-26th, each CCM+E station in PHILADELPHIA will encourage listeners to pledge to clean up their neighborhoods and in return have a chance to win a pair of two-day passes to the BUDWEISER "Made in AMERICA Festival" on SEPTEMBER 1st-2nd, featuring JAY-Z, PEARL JAM, DRAKE, JILL SCOTT and more.
"I encourage all PHILADELPHIA residents to take ownership of their neighborhoods and make this city a cleaner, greener and healthier place," Mayor NUTTER said. " I thank CLEAR CHANNEL/PHILADELPHIA for their partnership and dedication to making PHILADELPHIA a better place to live, work and play with the ‘Talk Trash’ campaign."
"Mayor NUTTER recently shared with us three areas he’s targeting: public safety, education and cleaning up the city," CCM+E/PHILADELPHIA Pres./Market Manager DENNIS LAMME said. "We will help the Mayor in each of these areas but because a cleaner city has a direct impact on safety and quality of life, so we decided to start off supporting this issue and hope to activate our listeners to help."
