KHOI Launches Community Station

A new community station has launched in AMES, IA. KHOI, which had been airing syndicated FAMILY RADIO aired  religious programming, is currently offering a mix of automated multiple-genre music programming, RADIOSURVIVOR.COM reports. The genres include world music, women’s music, jazz, reggae, folk, local music, electronica and polka.

KHOI Project Mgr./Station Mgr. URSULA RUEDENBERG noted that future programming will include syndicated content from PACIFICA, pre-recorded local shows and eventually live shows. A KICKSTARTER campaign is running until SEPTEMBER 15th, in the hopes of raising $12,000 in order build the broadcast studio by NOVEMBER.
