RADICAL.FM, INC. has launched a new web based HTML5 Player for its streaming music and audio content service, RADICAL.FM . Access to the Alpha test player is available by invitation only. New features include a completely revised interface, SoundCloud integration, and many performance enhancements. Mobile apps are currently in development.
RADICAL combines passive Stations (like PANDORA), active Playlists (like SPOTIFY), and social RADCAST (personal broadcasting). Patent-pending RADCAST makes every listener the owner of a broadcast radio station and permits personal streams to be shared in real-time. The soon-to-be-available TALK function will allow a user to speak to all who are listening to their RADCASTS.
"RADICAL is the most comprehensive music and audio content delivery service ever. We have 22 million major label recordings in the U.S., plus a rapidly growing Indie content library for worldwide distribution. Music and other programming blend freely just like on terrestrial radio, only now the user has complete control," said RADICAL Founder/CEO THOMAS MCALEVEY. "This Alpha test of our innovative player shows it to be a FERRARI in a field of Minivans."
