Will the MINNESOTA TWINS move to the radio station owned by the team's own owners, the POHLAD family? The MINNEAPOLIS STAR-TRIBUNE reports that the radio rights for the TWINS, held for the past six seasons by HUBBARD Sports KSTP-A (1500 ESPN TWIN CITIES)/ST. PAUL-MINNEAPOLIS, will move to NORTHERN LIGHTS Hot AC KTWN (96.3 K-TWIN) for next season.
An announcement of the move is expected this morning. KSTP inked a four-year deal in 2007 and renewed for two more years in 2010; before that, the TWINS were heard on CBS RADIO's WCCO-A from their move to the TWIN CITIES from WASHINGTON in 1961 through the 2006 season.
