Kix Brooks Throws Benefit At His Vineyard

On SATURDAY, AUGUST 11th, ARISTA NASHVILLE KIX BROOKS threw a benefit “Harvest Party” at the winery that he owns, ARRINGTON VINEYARDS, in ARRINGTON, TN.

The event was in support of MONROE CARELL JR. VANDERBILT CHILDREN’s HOSPITAL in NASHVILLE. BROOKS has been raising money and awareness for the hospital for over 20 years and during the “Harvest Party” event, VANDERBILT executives presented BROOKS with a plaque to commemorate his generosity and commitment through the years.

The day was filled with musical performances, wine tours, hot air balloon rides and picnicking families who also had the opportunity to purchase commemorative bottles of wine, Hatch Show prints and event T-shirts to benefit the cause.

At the close of the event, KIX BROOKS took to the stage and made an announcement about his plans to make the “Harvest Party” into an annual event. “We're very proud to have VANDERBILT involved, and my mission for this year was to let people enjoy this and become aware of what a great hospital we have. My vision for the future is, we bought the 20 acres next door and it has two houses, a big barn and a beautiful outdoor theater there. I would love to have sort of like a steeplechase, and make it an official balloon festival and keep the awareness up on VANDERBILT. I'd love to see it grow as years go on, and be something we can all be proud of!" said BROOKS.

Kix Brooks To Perform On Good Morning America

BROOKS will perform on ABC’s GOOD MORNING AMERICA on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12th. BROOKS will perform the first single from his new solo album “New To This Town.” The song, entitled “Bring It On Home,” “ is really about a guy just gettin’ back to what matters with love. I always liked the soulful attitude of this song and the kind of natural feelin’,” said BROOKS.
