THE NEW YORK POST reports, "On MONDAY, its surging stock propelled the company's value to $623 billion, beating the record for market capitalization set by MICROSOFT CORP. in the heady days of the Internet boom."

APPLE is worth 53% more than the second most valuable company, EXXON MOBIL.

APPLE stock closed at 665.15 YESTERDAY (8/20), up 17.04‎ (2.63%‎).
