CBS Radio News Offers 'Major Upgrade' For iPhone App

CBS RADIO NEWS has issued what it describes as a "major upgrade" for its iPHONE app that adds a new uninterrupted stream offering coverage of special events, speeches, and other news conferences, plus social media links and headlines from Twitter.

“Our listeners now have more ways and devices from which to hear CBS Radio News and our goal is to provide them with the best possible experience," said CBS NEWS VP/Radio HARVEY NAGLER. “This upgraded app will seamlessly take them from the convention floor to news hot spots around the globe.”

"The upgraded app has easy-to-use functions and improved graphics," added NAGLER. "These changes have made a useful app even better."
