POWELL BROADCASTING Country WAKT/PANAMA CITY has repositioned itself from “HANK-FM” to “KICK'N COUNTRY” today.
With the change in branding comes a new lineup of on-air personalities. BRET BROOKS and CHAPPEL FISHER are handling the morning shift with their show, “PANAMA CITY LIVE WITH BRET AND CHAPPEL.” Former afternoon personality MELISSA MILLER has shifted to middays, while “THE OUTLAW” SCOTT TYLER now handles the afternoons.
“We’re excited to bring today’s best Country to the folks of the FLORIDAY panhandle. KICK’N is showcasing the music with minimal commercial interruptions to give the listeners of the PANAMA CITY area a choice when it comes to Country music on the radio. After talking with many listeners in the area we believe we are addressing their needs … we are KICK’N 103.5 … PANAMA CITY’s MOST COMMERCIAL FREE COUNTRY,” said the cluster OM NEIL “6-PACK” KNIGHT.
