Roger Clemens' Skeeters Debut To Air On Country Legends 97.1/Houston

COX MEDIA GROUP Classic Country KTHT (COUNTRY LEGENDS 97.1)/CLEVELAND-BEAUMONT-HOUSTON, TX will air the play-by-play of SATURDAY night's minor league baseball game between the SUGAR LAND SKEETERS and BRIDGEPORT BLUEFISH, the debut with the SKEETERS of ROGER CLEMENS, reports the HOUSTON CHRONICLE's DAVID BARRON.

The SKEETERS are normally heard online only, streaming through the websites of KTHT sister stations Country KKBQ (THE NEW Q93) and Classic Hits KGLK-KHPT (HOUSTON'S EAGLE).  Regular SKEETERS voice LANE ZIEBEN will be joined by former ASTROS manager ART HOWE for the broadcast, which ZIEBEN told BARRON he hopes leads to regular broadcasts on the FM dial next season.
