After 34 Years, Joe Chille Hangs Up The Headphones At WJYE

TOWNSQUARE AC WJYE (96.1 JOY FM)/BUFFALO OM/morning host JOE CHILLE is exiting the station --and the radio business -- after 34 years.

"After a wonderful 34 years, I have decided to explore new opportunities in public relations and media relations," CHILLE wrote on FACEBOOK. "Thank you all for being good listeners and great friends through the years. This isn't goodbye -- Just till we meet again."

The response from his fans was immediate, and CHILLE responded, posting "I am still in complete amazement at all the comments received about my leaving JOY (TOWNSQUARE MEDIA). We all have different benchmarks in our lives, and we all know when it is time to take that leap and do something new."
