GUARANTY BROADCASTING/BATON ROUGE OM and Country WTGE (100.7 THE TIGER) PD DAVE DUNAWAY tells ALL ACCESS that HURRICANE ISAAC has been downgraded to a tropical storm, but continues to wreak havoc on the GULF COAST.
DUNAWAY reports 650,000 without power from BATON ROUGE to NEW ORLEANS and another 6 to 20 hours ahead of high wind and rain and flooding concerns.
The GUARANTY staff caught sleep in offices and control rooms over the last 24 hours, manning the board around the clock to give listeners the latest up to date info.The station has been on generator power since 9:10a (CT) TODAY (8/29).
