NRG MEDIA Sports KOZN-A (1620AM THE ZONE)/OMAHA has inked a renewal of its deal to serve as the radio home of the UNITED FOOTBALL LEAGUE's OMAHA NIGHTHAWKS for the third consecutive year. PD/morning co-host GARY SHARP and afternoon "UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT" co-host MI'KEL SEVERE will call the action.
GM ANDY RUBACK said, “The NIGHTHAWKS are a tremendous brand as it has helped to increase OMAHA’s overall status as a serious sports town. To host the team on THE ZONE makes great sense since it’s a franchise our listeners have come to expect on our station.”
NIGHTHAWKS Executive Director GUY INGLES added, “We’re very excited to be back on THE ZONE as it promises to be a terrific year for our team. Our coaching staff has a cumulative eight SUPER BOWL rings and that should make for a pretty exciting and competitive season of play.”
