Millie Kirkham To Be Saluted At Country Hall Of Fame

MILLIE KIRKHAM, the famed background vocalist, who sang on classics like EDDY ARNOLD’S “What’s He Doing in My World,” GEORGE JONES’ “He Stopped Loving Her Today,” ELVIS PRESLEY’S “Blue Christmas,” and many more, will be honored by the COUNTRY HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM in NASHVILLE.
The quarterly program series, “NASHVILLE CATS: A CELEBRATION OF MUSIC CITY MUSICIANS,” will return on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 29th to salute KIRKHAM with an in-depth interview at 1:30p (CT), in the MUSEUM’S FORD THEATRE. The event is included with admission, free to MUSEUM members and will also be streamed at www.countrymusichalloffame.org.
The program will be hosted by songwriter/artist/musician BILL LLOYD and will include vintage recordings, photos and film clips from the MUSEUM’S FRIST LIBRARY AND ARCHIVE.
