Owner CBS RADIO Country WSOC (103.7 Country’s Hottest Hits)/ CHARLOTTE is gearing up for a concert event to commemorate the anniversary of 9/11 and to honor local emergency workers.
On TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 11th at 12p (ET), members from local police, sheriff, medic, and fire departments are invited to a free concert by WARNER BROS. NASHVILLE duo BIG AND RICH at COYOTE JOES, and complimentary lunch provided by COSTCO. The event will be hosted by morning show host ROB TANNER.
“SEPTEMBER 11th is a day for remembrance across our country. Giving thanks to the folks whose help we count on and who protect us every day is a small way to say thanks for all they do,” said TANNER.
“We are honored to be able to come together to recognize our emergency service workers on the 11th anniversary of 9/11. Anytime we can acknowledge our local heroes is truly an honor,” said WSOC OM/ PD DJ STOUT.
