ACM Lifting Lives Raised $750,000 During 'Lionel Richie and Friends' Concert

The ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC (ACM) has revealed that a $750,000 contribution was made to ACM LIFTING LIVES on behalf of the “ACM Presents: LIONAL RICHIE and Friends” taping that took place in LAS VEGAS in APRIL. Proceeds from the tickets from this event went to ACM LIFTING LIVES.
Eight million viewers tuned in to the CBS special in APRIL which featured LIONEL RICHIE, along with performers JASON ALDEAN, MARC ANTHONY, LUKE BRYAN, KENNY CHESNEY, SARA EVANS, MARTINA MCBRIDE, TIM MCGRAW, JENNIFER NETTLES, KENNY ROGERS, DARIUS RUCKER, BLAKE SHELTON, THE BAND PERRY, BIG & RICH, LADY ANTEBELLUM and RASCAL FLATTS.
“We thank these incredible artists for donating their time and talents to make it possible for ACM LIFTING LIVES to continue the good work of improving lives through the power of music,” said ACM LIFTING LIVES Chairman MARK HARTLEY.
