NJ 101.5's Stacy Proebstle Honored With Award For Teen Drug Abuse Series

TOWNSQUARE MEDIA Talk WKXW (NEW JERSEY 101.5)/TRENTON reporter STACY PROEBSTLE has received the Community Service Award from the GOVERNOR'S COUNCIL ON ALCOHOLISM AND DRUG ABUSE for a recent five-part series on teen drug abuse.
“NEW JERSEY 101.5 has demonstrated a continued commitment to providing news and on air coverage as well as web based reporting to issues related to alcoholism and drug abuse which has contributed greatly to the raising the public’s awareness and understanding of this critical public health concern,” said GCADA Acting Chairman NEIL VAN ESS.
“I’m absolutely delighted to receive this honor on behalf of the station and most genuinely greatful. It validates the importance of community service and giving back to one’s community,” said PROEBSTLE.
PROEBSTLE, PD ERIC JOHNSON and News Dir. ERIC SCOTT received the award at the GCADA's 21st annual Summit at the HYATT REGENCY NEW BRUNSWICK.
