Condolences to family and friends of former BBC RADIO 2 host and longtime newspaper editor DEREK JAMESON, who died of a heart attack at his home on WEDNESDAY (9/12) at 82.
JAMESON served as Editor of the DAILY EXPRESS, DAILY STAR, NEWS OF THE WORLD, and DAILY MIRROR and hosted mornings in 1986-91 and, with his wife ELLEN, nights in 1991-97 on RADIO 2. He also hosted the BBC television shows "DO THEY MEAN US?" and "PEOPLE." His radio career followed a libel case he filed against the BBC over a Radio 4 show and lost.
