WGN's John WIlliams Tries Again For Golf Speed Record

TRIBUNE Talk WGN-A/CHICAGO midday host JOHN WILLIAMS will take a group of listeners on a second attempt to break the world record for the fastest round of golf this SUNDAY (9/16) at CARRIAGE GREENS COUNTRY CLUB in DARIEN, IL.  “KING JOHN & His Royal Court's Speed Golf World Record Challenge" will include a team of 200 listeners in a relay format, hitting the ball in progression. 

The current world record is 7 minutes, 56 seconds, and WILLIAMS said, “Last year we narrowly missed the record by a mere 19 minutes, and the injury count was surprisingly low.  So...”
