Halfway To Hazard Raises $565,000 For KY Hometown

The HALFWAY TO HAZARD duo of CHAD WARRIX and DAVID TOLLIVER held their 5th annual CROCKETTSVILLE CHARITY CONCERT & TRAIL RIDE on SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 8th and SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 9th.
The event, which debuted in 2008, was created in an effort to better the band’s hometown of CROCKETTSVILLE, KY, which is located in the foothills of the APPALACHIAN mountains. Proceeds from the festivities will go to various charities throughout the area.
The 2012 weekend event raised over $100,000 this year. Since 2008, the TRAILSONG PRODUCTION and CONCERT 4 A CAUSE collaboration has raised over $565,000. 18,000 attended the events, with 420 people participating in a 42-mile trail ride through dirt and mud in the mountains. Performers included HALFWAY TO HAZARD and another KENTUCKY-born duo, MONTGOMERY GENTRY, along with DANIELLE PECK, CRAIG WAYNE BOYD, GARY CHAPMAN, KEITH ANDERSON, LARRY CORDLE, LISA TORRES and the MONSTER ENERGY MOTORCROSS TEAM.
