A quiet day for filings at the FCC included CBS RADIO making a pro forma change to move its stations' licenses from subsidiary CBS RADIO HOLDINGS, INC. (and, for KSFM/SACRAMENTO, CBS RADIO OF SACRAMENTO, INC.) to its direct parent CBS RADIO STATIONS, INC. The move removes one layer of the stations' ownership structure.
Also filed with the Commission was a request by SUN VALLEY RADIO, INC. for a Silent STA for FM translator K250AV/LAKETOWN, UT due to interference claims by another translator.
AMERICAN FAMILY ASSOCIATION closed on the donation of noncommercial Religion WLYJ-A/TULLAHOMA, TN to JOY CHRISTIAN COMMUNICATIONS, INC. for no financial consideration.
NRG MEDIA has closed on the sale of Talk KHUB-A and Classic Rock KFMT (FM GOLD 105.5)/FREMONT, NE and Country KBLR/BLAIR, NE to DEAN SORENSON's COMMUNITY FIRST MEDIA OF NEBRASKA, LLC for $900,000.
And THROW FIRE PROJECT has closed on the sale of Religion KYES-A/ROCKVILLE-ST. CLOUD, MN to GABRIEL MEDIA for $500,000.
