Price For Midwest Fargo Deal: $25 Million

MIDWEST COMMUNICATIONS is paying $25 million for JIM INGSTAD's RADIO FARGO-MOORHEAD cluster of stations, the paperwork filed with the FCC revealed. The price for the previously-announced deal was undisclosed before the deal hit the FCC database. The stations include Talk KFGO-A, Sports KVOX-A, Country KBVB (BOB 95 FM), Top 40 WDAY-F (Y94), Talk KRWK (101.9 TALK FM), and Adult Hits KMJO (104.7 POPSTER FM)/FARGO-MOORHEAD.
In other filings with the FCC, NORTHERN NEVADA MEDIA, INC. has requested an extension of its Silent STA for KTSN-A/ELKO, NV while it awaits the return of its repaired transmitter.
KYWN RADIO, INC. has filed for a Silent STA for KYWN-A/MERIDIAN, ID "due to financial and staffing issues."
And EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION has asked the Commission for an extension of its Silent STA for KDRH/KING CITY, CA due to the loss of its tower site.
