THE GLOBAL POVERTY PROJECT will offer their upcoming GLOBAL CITIZEN FESTIVAL live via streaming and broadcast media. The simultaneous distribution of this event allows the world to "attend" the festival, which will bring together leading non-profit organizations, musicians and notables in CENTRAL PARK on SEPTEMBER 29th, as part of a mass movement to end extreme poverty.
Leading broadcast sponsor Australian technology company, VIVIDAS, along with online distribution partners include VEVO, YOUTUBE, AOL/HUFFINGTON POST, YAHOO!, VH1.COM and NYTIMES.COM all plan to stream the event live
"THE GLOBAL POVERTY PROJECT is proud to have such partners to help carry the message of the GLOBAL CITIZEN FESTIVAL around the world,” said GPP CEO/Co-Founder HUGH EVANS. "This is a chance to take action towards ending extreme poverty in our generation."
"I've always been fascinated by the way art and music can bring people together," said Co-Founder/Executive Producer RYAN GALL. "This event is a way to take that collective energy to create positive social change."
