WJR-A's Paul Smith Honored

CUMULUS MEDIA Talk WJR-A/DETROIT morning fixture PAUL W. SMITH was formally recognized SEP. 19th as a "DETROIT Legend" -- the MOTOR CITY equivalent of the HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME -- by cementing his hand prints and signature at the new LEGENDS PLAZA located at the DETROIT HISTORICAL SOCIETY.

SMITH, the morning "Great Voice of the Great Lakes" at WJR since 1996, was on hand to emcee the opening of the new attraction at the museum. Smith joins other Detroit-area entertainment, media and sports luminaries such as film director SAM RAIMI, musician ALICE COOPER and boxer TOMMY HEARNS.
