WOWO, Fort Wayne Komets Ink New 2-Year Deal

Minor league hockey's FORT WAYNE KOMETS, who move to the ECHL this season, will return to FEDERATED MEDIA Talk WOWO-A-F/FORT WAYNE under a new two-year deal, the team announced TUESDAY (9/25).  BOB CHASE will be back to call the action for his 60th season; he began calling the KOMETS games in 1953.

"We are looking forward to working with one of the finest teams in all of minor league sports for their 61st anniversary season, " said WOWO Market Manager JIM ALLGEIER.

"The KOMETS are happy to be back with WOWO Radio AM and FM as we start play in the ECHL," said KOMETS Pres. MICHAEL FRANKE.  "For decades WOWO Radio and the KOMETS have been very important parts of our community."
