Alternative weekly newspaper TUCSON WEEKLY has released its "BEST OF TUCSON" awards for 2012, with six radio categories in the primary reader vote section.  Winners included:

Best Radio Personality: JON JUSTICE, JOURNAL Talk KQTH (104.1 THE TRUTH)
Best Radio Talk Show (Host): JUSTICE
Best Pop Music Station: CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 KRQQ
Best Rock Music Station: LOTUS Alternative KFMA
Best Country Music Station: CUMULUS Country KIIM
Best Radio Station for News: UNIVERSITY OF ARIZONA noncommercial News-Talk KUAZ-A-F

The newspaper also had some less formal categories about radio as "staff picks," including:
