UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA Triple A WXPN/PHILADELPHIA -- home of the highly successful syndicated NPR program World Cafe -- has announced that it will now independently distribute its XPONENTIAL RADIO HD2/HD3 stream to public radio stations. XPONENTIAL RADIO is available as a primary or secondary audio channel and web stream. The stream features a unique mix of emerging and heritage musicians in an eclectic blend of blues, rock, world, folk and alternative country.
"At WXPN, we are proud to be a Triple A radio service leader and our XPONENTIAL RADIO stream is a good example of the quality content we produce," said WXPN GM ROGER LAMAY. "The NPR news audience has a great affinity for the kind of music played in the Triple A space, so the stream provides these stations the potential to attract new audiences. It also gives them the flexibility to broadcast music content at times of their choosing and can serve as a complement to their web content. We look forward to working with our fellow public radio stations to bring great music to their audiences."
XPONENTIAL RADIO is one of three radio streams produced by WXPN, including XPN and XPN2. Nearly 20 public radio stations currently subscribe to XPONENTIAL RADIO.
