VERTICAL CAPITAL PARTNERS, LP is transferring FM translator W298AH/CLAREMONT, NH to BILL BINNIE's WBIN MEDIA CO., INC. for no consideration. The translator is part of BINNIE's deal to buy several stations from bankrupt NASSAU BROADCASTING III, LLC and rebroadcasts CountryWZLF (107.1 THE WOLF)/BELLOWS FALLS, VT, also purchased by BINNIE.
In other filings with the FCC, GEORGE S. FLINN, JR. has requested a Silent STA for WMBZ/WAYNESBORO, TN while the station changes programming and replaces "broadcast equipment as necessary and such."
WESTERN INSPIRATIONAL BROADCASTERS, INC. has closed on the sale of FM translator K208BS/BISHOP, CA to LAWRENCE LEE AMUNDSEN for $11,000.
MELODY THORNTON has closed on the purchase of BATES COUNTY BROADCASTING CO., licensee of Country KMAM-A and KMOE/BUTLER, MO, from her father BILL D. THORNTON for $260,000. MELODY THORNTON is the GM of the stations.
