JWT San Juan Wins Best Of Show At 2012 Radio Mercury Awards

JWT SAN JUAN/MEDIANET won the Best of Show Award at the 2012 RADIO MERCURY AWARDS for its "The Most Popular Song" campaign for BANCO POPULAR. The awards were bestowed at a reception TONIGHT (10/3) at Advertising Week in NEW YORK.
“’The Most Popular Song,’ by JWT SAN JUAN was truly the most thought provoking, creative and effective submission we heard,” said BILL LUDWIG, Chairman and CEO, CAMPBELL EWALD, and Chief Judge for the awards. “This campaign helped reinvent the way clients use radio as an advertising medium, and most importantly found a unique way to directly connect with consumers.”
“This was a stellar year for radio creative, the winning brands showcase the array of radio’s advertisers,” said RADIO ADVERTISING BUREAU President and CEO ERICA FARBER. “This is a true testament to radio’s ability to engage consumers, build awareness and influence culture.”MACY'S Chief Marketing Officer MARTINE REARDON was named Marketer of the Year, with the award presented by CLEAR CHANNEL MEDIA + ENTERTAINMENT's GREG GLENDAY.
