Hot AC WERZ Returns To Top 40

CCM+E Hot AC WERZ (HITS OF THE 80s, 90s AND TODAY)/PORTSMOUTH, NH has flipped back to Top 40 as Z107.

The change occurred at 3p (ET) with the final Hot AC song being SEMISONIC/Closing Time, into a heartbeat which slowed into a flat line tone ... silence, then RYAN SEACREST, who will do an airshift, announced the change, going commercial free until next TUESDAY (10/9), into FLO RID/Whistle.

ELVIS DURAN then announced that he's going to be doing mornings at Z107 then into JESSIE J/Domino.

In addition to its new programming line-up, WERZ will also continue its long standing tradition of community engagement with events like STUFF A BUS to benefit the USMC TOYS FOR TOTS PROGRAM; COATS FOR KIDS and WERZ FOR LITERACY. Z107’s complete programming line-up will be announced soon.

CCM+E/NEW HAMPSHIRE VP/GM JOSEPH GRAHAM noted, "After seeing the significant growth of pop contemporary hit music listenership locally over the last four years and the corresponding national trend, we're excited to launch Z107 as the SEACOAST’s HIT MUSIC station. Moving ELVIS DURAN and RYAN SEACREST to the Z107 signal will allow more SEACOAST listeners the opportunity to be entertained by Top 40 radio's most recognizable personalities."
