KORD Adds 'Woody' To Mornings - KMBQ 'Wakes Up With Welch'

TOWNSQUARE MEDIA Country KORD /TRI-CITIES, WA has tapped STEVE “WOODY” WOODS to join GREG DELANGE for the KORD WAKING CREW morning show, beginning MONDAY, OCTOBER 15th. 

WOODY has spent the last several years on air in ALASKA, most recently at OHANA MEDIA GROUP Hot AC KMBQ (Q 99.7)/WASILLA, AK.

Back at KMBQ, look for current co-host JOHN WELCH to launch their new "WAKIN' UP WITH WELCH" morning show beginning on WEDNESDAY (OCTOBER 10th).

According to KMBQ PD CHUCK GEIGER, "His departure is bittersweet, we hate to lose a talent of his magnitude, but he is heading home to WASHINGTON to his wife and family."
