SHOW DOG-UNIVERSAL MUSIC and UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP (UMG) have renewed their Joint Venture Agreement. The announcement was made by TOBY KEITH, SHOW DOG-UNIVERSAL MUSIC Pres. MARK WRIGHT and UMG President MIKE DUNGAN.
SHOW DOG-UNIVERSAL MUSIC was formed by TOBY KEITH in 2009 and its roster includes KEITH, TRACE ADKINS, JT HODGES, JESSIE JAMES, ROSE FALCON, JOEL CROUSE, JOSH THOMPSON, and KRYSTAL KEITH.
“We are committed to expanding our creative investment in all areas of Country music,” said DUNGAN. “SHOW DOG-UNIVERSAL MUSIC is on solid ground, and is uniquely situated as one of the premier custom-shop labels in NASHVILLE. With TOBY and MARK at the helm, I’m confident that they will be able to expand the label even further.”
"SHOW DOG UNIVERSAL’s goal is to be a powerhouse label that provides better opportunities for our artists to create music and gives them room to grow; the way it is supposed to be," said TOBY KEITH. "That was our goal at the very beginning and it is what we will continue to do.”
“We are extremely proud to be part of the UNIVERSAL family and their commitment and belief speaks volumes at this time in the music business,” added SDU MUSIC Pres. MARK WRIGHT.”
