Michael Savage Itching to Return 'Before Debates Are Over'

What's MICHAEL SAVAGE been doing in the weeks since leaving TALK RADIO NETWORK?  He told the SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE that he's been visiting his son in BEVERLY HILLS and working on another novel, but, he said, "I've got to get back before these (presidential) debates are over.  And when I do, it will be bigger than ever."

SAVAGE's lawyer DANIEL HOROWITZ told the paper's columnists PHILLIP MATIER and ANDREW ROSS that he is talking to three "major players" about a return to the air for SAVAGE, declining to answer whether a deal would include a local station because "it might tip our hand."
