Condolences to family and friends of former CBS RADIO News WCBS-A-Oldies WCBS-F/NEW YORK VP/GM JAMES R. MCQUADE, who died OCTOBER 4th in SPRING LAKE, NJ. 

MCQUADE worked for the CBS RADIO NETWORK and in various capacities (including AE and PD) at WCBS-A before becoming GM of the CBS-owned FM stations in 1969. He subsequently served as VP/GM of the NEW YORK combo.
