Keith Urban To Receive Nashville Symphony 'Harmony Award'

CAPITOL NASHVILLE artist KEITH URBAN will be the recipient of the NASHVILLE SYMPHONY’s 2012 “Harmony Award” at an annual gala event on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 8th at the SCHERMERHORN SYMPHONY CENTER.
The award is presented each year to “an individual who exemplifies the harmonious spirit of NASHVILLE’s thriving musical community,” according to an official statement. Past recipients have included LEANN RIMES, TRISHA YEARWOOD, DOLLY PARTON, THE JUDDS, VINCE GILL, MARTINA MCBRIDE, RASCAL FLATTS, TAYLOR SWIFT, MARTY STUART, CARRIE UNDERWOOD, and more.
“MUSIC CITY is home to so many talented people who live and work here, and KEITH URBAN has been such a vital force in this community. What he brings to NASHVILLE, his passion for music, his presence at SYMPHONY concerts and his involvement in this community, is precisely what the ‘Harmony Award’ symbolizes,” said NASHVILLE SYMPHONY CEO/Pres.
