ABC-TV’s drama series “NASHVILLE” premiered last night (10/10) with an hour-long look at the inner workings of NASHVILLE’s music industry.

Based around the storylines of a well-known singer who’s star doesn’t shine as bright these days, and an eager, seductive and popular newcomer, ABC-TV had been promoting “NASHVILLE” in dramatic advertisements all month long.

According to the TV ratings website ZAP2IT.com, the Country music-themed drama earned a 2.8 rating, finishing ahead of CBS’s “CSI” at 2.6 and NBC’s “CHICAGO FIRE” premiere with a 1.9 .
