WWCD Announces 20th Annual Andyman-A-Thon

FUN WITH RADIO Alternative WWCD (CD102.5)/COLUMBUS, OH announces that the 20th Annual "ANDYMAN-A-THON" will be held DECEMBER 14th-16th. CD102.5 will continue ANDY’s tradition in his memory. In the past, ANDY would stay awake, on-air for 48 hours straight to raise money for children’s charities in COLUMBUS. During this time, listeners are encouraged to call the studio to offer donations in return for song requests, as well as the opportunity to bid on special live and online auction items.

No one specific DJ will be on-air for the entire 48 hours, but the goal is still the same: to raise money and awareness for CD102.5 FOR THE KIDS with donations going to CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL THE CHILDHOOD LEAGUE and RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE HOMELESS FAMILIES FOUNDATION. In addition, a portion of proceeds will be donated to the ANDY DAVIS MEMORIAL FUND, benefiting ANDY’s three children. A few of the charities that CD102.5 for the Kids has donated to over the years:

The ANDYMAN-A-THON provides a unique opportunity for the listeners of CD102.5 to give back to their community. It also gives a chance for individuals to bid on unique one-of-a-kind pieces of memorabilia. CD102.5 is asking for help in securing autographed guitars, CDs and any other fun or unusual pieces of artist memorabilia. All donor names and companies will be recognized in the eBay.com charity auction item description as well as on-air during the live auctions.
