ESPN AUDIO has inked a new two-year deal with the COTTON BOWL ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION to air the AT&T COTTON BOWL Classic for the next two years. The game, this year scheduled for JANUARY 4th at COWBOYS STADIUM in ARLINGTON, TX, will air on ESPN RADIO with BRAD SHAM calling the action and, for the game's first national Spanish-language broadcast, on ESPN DEPORTES RADIO.
“We’re proud to add the tradition-rich COTTON BOWL to ESPN AUDIO’s already comprehensive line-up college football play-by-play events which includes 24 Bowls and 33 regular-season games this season,” said SVP/Production, Business Division TRAUG KELLER. “We envision ESPN AUDIO’s presentation of the event across our varied platforms adding to the game’s national prominence.”
“Our goal is to give more college football fans an opportunity to tune into the AT&T COTTON BOWL CLASSIC, and ESPN RADIO is the perfect partner to broadcast our game to the masses,” said the game's President/CEO RICK BAKER. “We have enjoyed a tremendous local partnership with ESPN RADIO for years, so it was only fitting we expanded our relationship on a national level. We couldn’t be more thrilled.”
