'Nashville' Actress Hayden Panettiere Hopes To Record Country Album

ABC-TV’s new drama series “NASHVILLE” is full of music each episode, so it’s no surprise that star HAYDEN PANETTIERE might be the next new Country star.

Her character, JULIETTE BARNES, performed the song “Telescope” in the second episode of the series last week (10/17), and the single has already been released to Country radio. This is not HAYDEN’s first go-around with music. She recorded an album when she was younger, had a pop single in 2008, and acted in the musical DISNEY movies “ICE PRINCESS” and “DISNEY GIRLZ ROCK.”

PANETTIERE recently told US WEEKLY that she hopes to record a full Country album soon. “I always said that if I was going to go back to music, I would do Country. I’m keeping my fingers crossed,” she said.

Currently, no official word on an album from HAYDEN has been released, however several songs from “NASHVILLE” are available on iTUNES. The series’ music is being released by BIG MACHINE LABEL GROUP (NET NEWS 10/3) which is the home of another young, blonde, Country star and actress TAYLOR SWIFT.
