Villanova Men's Basketball, Football Moving To WIP-A

CBS RADIO Sports WIP-A/PHILADELPHIA, soon to end its mostly-simulcast of WIP-F to become a full affiliate of the new CBS SPORTS RADIO network, will be the new flagship for VILLANOVA UNIVERSITY men's basketball and football, starting with the 2012-13 basketball season on NOVEMBER 9th.  The WILDCATS, whose rights are held by IMG, have been airing on the AM side of GREATER MEDIA Sports WPEN-A-F (97.5 THE FANATIC), but that AM station has been sold to FAMILY STATIONS and will be flipping to Religion. 

WIP-A will also air coaches' shows for the WILDCATS, including "TALKING VILLANOVA BASKETBALL WITH JAY WRIGHT" beginning in DECEMBER and "TALKING VILLANOVA FOOTBALL WITH ANDY TALLEY" next season.
