THE GRAND OLE OPRY partnered with WOMEN ROCK FOR THE CURE to fight breast cancer with the OPRY’s fourth “OPRY Goes Pink” show LAST NIGHT (10/30). BLACK RIVER ENTERTAINMENT artist KELLIE PICKER, who recently shaved her head in support of her childhood friend who is facing breast cancer, got to flip the switch on the OPRY’s stage which turned the backdrop pink for the night.
Other performers for the special night included SARAH DARLING, JIMMY DICKENS, KRISTEN KELLY, THE FARM, MINDY SMITH and any others. There were also many activities which recognized breast cancer survivors and the fight against the disease.
