In a memo to WMG staff, CEO STEVE COOPER announced a restructuring of its U.S. operations. Effective immediately, the U.S. operations will be split into three divisions -- Frontline Recorded Music, Music Publishing & Catalog Development and Label & Artist Services.
"Let’s be clear: The drivers of our recorded music business, our frontline labels, will remain as they are," he wrote. "Further, the number of employees within each WMG company will not be impacted by the new organizational structure. This realignment is about creating an environment of greater collaboration, helping all of us work better together and improving the way we do business."
The realignment is as follows:

* The Music Publishing & Catalog Development division now includes RHINO ENTERTAINMENT, led by KEVIN GORE and WARNER/CHAPPELL Chairman/CEO CAMERON STRANG.* Label & Artist Services, which includes WEA and ADA, the distribution arms led by MIKE JBARA, as well as its 360° Operations and D2C teams.
