LIGHT MEDIA HOLDINGS, INC. is selling Urban Inspirational WZBN (POWER 105.5)/CAMILLA, GA to GREATER 2ND MT. OLIVE MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH for $242,500 ($235,000 in a promissory note).
In other filings with the FCC, PENSACOLA CHRISTIAN COLLEGE, INC. is selling FM translator W201CM/TRAVERSE CITY, MI to INTERLOCHEN CENTER FOR THE ARTS for $20,000.
POTENTIAL BROADCASTING, LLC has closed on the sale of CUMULUS-CITADEL spinoff Country WCAT-F (RED 102.3)/CARLISLE-HARRISBURG, PA to HAROLD Z. SWIDLER's RADIO CARLISLE, INC. for $405,000.
And TYLER BROADCASTING CORP. has closed on the sale of Talk daytimer KTLR-A/OKLAHOMA CITY and Country KKNG-F (KING COUNTRY 97.3)/BLANCHARD-OKLAHOMA CITY o WPA RADIO LLC for $1.6 million.
In a deal yet to appear in the FCC database, CARY H. SIMPSON is selling a pair of stations he has owned for over 60 years, Adult Standards WKBI-A (CLASSY 1400) and Hot AC WKBI-F (B94)/SAINT MARYS, PA to DENNIS HEINDL's LAUREL MEDIA for an undisclosed price. LAUREL owns crosstown Country WDDH (97,5 THE HOUND) and took over operation of WKBI-A-F under an LMA on NOVEMBER 1st.
And in a closing not yet in the FCC database, KINSTON CHRISTIAN RADIO, INC. (WILLIS BROADCASTING) has closed on the sale of Urban Inspirational WELS-A-F/KINSTON, NC to EASTERN AIRWAVES, LLC (affiliated with CURTIS MEDIA) for $225,000. KALIL AND CO. served as broker for the deal.
