World Cafe Recognized As Important Source For Indie Music

UNIVERSITY OF PENNSYLVANIA Triple A WXPN’s nationally-syndicated WORLD CAFE radio program hosted by DAVID DYE has ranked #8 on the top 20 sources for Indie Music, according to the new BILLBOARD Maximum Exposure issue.

Of the recognition, DYE said: "With two hours a day of new music and an in-depth interview on every show, it’s great that BILLBOARD recognizes that indie music fans have a major radio and online resource in the World Cafe."

With national syndication by NPR, WORLD CAFE serves more than 500,000 listeners weekly and reaches more than 225 markets.
