Friends Throw Lauren Alaina A Birthday Prom

MERCURY NASHVILLE artist LAUREN ALAINA was surprised with a special prom-themed18th birthday bash over the weekend in her hometown of ROSSVILLE, GA. The idea behind the party was to re-create the Junior Prom, since ALAINA missed hers while on tour. Under the impression that she was going to dinner with a small group of family and friends, she was taken to a location where members of her high school, family and friends were waiting, as well as a dress for her to change into.

As an ambassador for the SPECIAL OLYMPICS PROJECT UNIFY, ALAINA spent a lot of time helping special needs teenagers during High School, many of whom were made honorary prom kings and queens at the party.

Also in attendance was JORDAN TRUNFIO, a high school student from SPRINGFIELD, VA, suffering from a brain tumor, who LAUREN surprised a few weeks ago at his homecoming dance.
