'Hee Haw' Co-Creator Dies

The co-creator of “HEE-HAW” has passed away at the age of 85.
FRANK PEPPIATT died at his home in PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FLORIDA last WEDNESDAY (11/7) after a lengthy battle with cancer.
He and JOHN AYLESWORTH launched “HEE HAW” in 1969. It ran on CBS for only two seasons before being cancelled. It then went on to be the longest-running syndicated program in history, airing for over 20 years.
AYLESWORTH passed away in 2010.
FRANK PEPPIATT’s book “When Variety Was King: Memoir Of A TV Pioneer” will be published in APRIL.
