With news about the departure of CBS Top 40 WNOW (92.3 NOW)/NEW YORK APD ROB WAGMAN (NET NEWS 11/14), a gaping void has been created.

WNOW PD RICK GILLETTE told ALL ACCESS, "Whoever gets this job has some big shoes to fill. ROB did a great job for me and for the station, and during the three and a half years here, he was responsible for steering the ship with DOM THEODORE on the road so much of the time.

"ROB did an admirable job and he deserves better than to be the #2 guy in the #1 market -- he should be the captain of his own ship."

GILLETTE is looking for a superstar mega-programming replacement for the APD post at 92.3 NOW, right now -- first of the year latest, hopefully soon.! It's an off-air post, but on-air skills never hurt.
