KASPAR BROADCASTING CO., INC. is selling FM translator W298BB/ZIONSVILLE, IN to EMMIS RADIO LICENSE, LLC for $375,000. The filing with the FCC says that the station will rebroadcast Talk WIBC/INDIANAPOLIS, but talk in the market indicates that the facility will rebroadcast Sports WFNI-A (1070 THE FAN) via WIBC's HD-2 simulcast of the AM station.
In other filings with the FCC, WAGENVOORD ADVERTISING GROUP INC. is selling Talk KLRG-A/SHERIDAN-LITTLE ROCK, AR and FM translator K233BF/GREENBRIER, AR to JOEL J. KINLOW for $562,500. The buyer also owns Gospel KJJI-A/WHITE HALL, AR in the adjacent PINE BLUFF area.
TRUE NORTH COMMUNITY OUTREACH is selling the construction permit for KXNK/BERTHOLD, ND to EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION for $40,000.
KM RADIO OF MERCED, LLC is selling Spanish Religion KBKY (RADIO ALFA Y OMEGA)/MERCED, CA to RADIO ALFA Y OMEGA LLC for $755,000. The buyer has been operating the station under an LMA since 2009.
CENTRO COMUNITARIO JUVENIL MAHANAIM, INC. is selling Silent noncommercial WJUV/CULLMAN, AL to DIVINE WORD COMMUNICATIONS, INC. for $50,000 ($40,000 cash, $10,000 in a three-year secured promissory note). The station was knocked off the air after two months of operation by 2011's tornadoes.
The previously-reported sale by longtime owner CARY H. SIMPSON's ELK-CAMERON BROADCASTING COMPANY of Adult Standards WKBI-A (CLASSY 1400), Hot AC WKBI-F (B94), and translator W233BS/SAINT MARYS, PA to DENNIS HEINDL's LAUREL MEDIA has been filed with the FCC, and the filing discloses a price of $766,047. LAUREL owns crosstown Country WDDH (97,5 THE HOUND) and took over operation of WKBI-A-F under an LMA on NOVEMBER 1st.
WAY MEDIA, INC. is selling FM translator W219DC/MERCER, KY to HANCOCK COMMUNICATIONS, INC. (CROMWELL GROUP) for $10,000. The buyer plans to use the translator, which has filed to change location and frequency, to rebroadcast Oldies WTCJ-A/TELL CITY, IN. Contemporaneously with the purchase filing, the parties have requested a one-step move of the translator to CENTRAL CITY, KY on a commercial frequency, asking for a waiver of the rule limiting FM translator transmitter site moves to only several kilometers and only to adjacent channels, calling the rule "an FCC regulatory procedural barrier of outdated public interest benefit as it is in public interest to bring needed in-contour FM translator service to the listeners of an AM primary station."
REFUGE MEDIA GROUP is selling FM translator K208EQ/ALEXANDRIA, MN to PARADIS BROADCASTING OF ALEXANDRIA, INC. for $60,000. The translator will rebroadcast Talk KXRA-A/ALEXANDRIA.
EDGEWATER BROADCASTING, INC. is selling FM translator W207CJ/CUTHBERT, GA to JOSEPH CASE BRANNAN for $15,000.

QUABOAG HILLS PUBLIC RADIO, INC. has closed on the transfer of noncommercial WJZZ/NORTH SALEM, NY to FOOTHILLS PUBLIC RADIO, INC. for no consideration.
