TOM F, HUTH is selling the construction permit for a new FM at OLIVEHURST, CA to LOTUS COMMUNICATIONS for $700,000.  The seller, who acquired the CP earlier this year for $45,000, is cooperating with the buyer in prosecuting an application to move the facility, at 890 AM, to a different site that covers the SACRAMENTO market with 10 kw days (the night pattern would come from a separate site with 480 watts and cover the immediate OLIVEHURST-YUBA CITY area).

In other filings with the FCC, EDUCATIONAL MEDIA FOUNDATION is swapping FM translator K208DF/GREAT FALLS, MT to MONTANA STATE UNIVERSITY - BILLINGS for FM translator K20AM/SHERIDAN, WY.

MAGNOLIA RADIO CORP. has applied for Silent STAs for WZHL/NEW AUGUSTA, MS; KQNO/COALINGA, CA; and KCOO/DUNKERTON, IA while it finds a new programming source.

SALT & LIGHT MEDIA MINISTRIES, INC. has filed for a Silent STA for WCRG/WILLIAMSPORT, PA due to "equipment malfunction."

COMMON FREQUENCY, INC. has requested a Silent STA for KZCF/ATWATER, CA due to an "antenna issue leading to unexpected drop in ERP."

BIBLE BROADCASTING NETWORK, INC. has asked for an extension of the Silent STA for WYBW/KEY COLONY BEACH, FL, which it acquired earlier this year and which has been silent since MARCH.

COCHISE MEDIA LICENSES LLC has closed on the sale of the construction permit for KCKO/RIO RICO-NOGALES, AZ to JJS MEDIA LLC is $465,000.  KALIL AND CO. served as exclusive broker on the deal.

And TIM JAKUBOWSKI has closed on the sale of his 51% interest in DKS COMMUNICATIONS, INC., licensee of Adult Hits WDKM/ADAMS-WISCONSIN DELLS, WI, to 49% partner NICHOLAS SEGINA for $50,000.

Also, in a 4-0 vote, the YUCAIPA, CA Board of Supervisors has approved the construction of a new tower at PISGAH PEAK for LAZER BROADCASTING Regional Mexican KXRS (RADIO LAZER)/HEMET, CA, according to the SAN BERNARDINO SUN.  The move from a hill south of HEMET to the peak east of SAN BERNARDINO was opposed by CITIZENS FOR THE PRESERVATION OF RURAL LIVING.  KXRS will increase power at the lower height and move from 105.7 to 105.5 FM, covering a larger portion of the RIVERSIDE-SAN BERNARDINO market.

And the SACRAMENTO COUNTY Planning Commission, in a 4-0 vote, has approved a 500-foot tower for CAPITAL PUBLIC RADIO Classical KXPR/SACRAMENTO on county land near RANCHO CORDOVA, according to the SACRAMENTO BEE.
