JOE RICCITELLI has been named EVP/GM at RCA Records. He was previously EVP/Promotion. RICCITELLI will continue to spearhead all aspects of Pop Promotion for the label and additionally will now oversee the Music Licensing and Brand Partnership departments, which will continue to be run by KAREN LAMBERTON. He will continue to report to Pres./COO TOM CORSON.
RICCITELLI began his career at POLYGRAM RECORDS in 1985. He held the position of SVP/Promotion at ISLAND LABEL GROUP from 1995-1999 working with U2, MELISSA ETHERIDGE and THE CRANBERRIES. He then joined JIVE RECORDS in FEBRUARY 1999 as SVP/Promotion where he oversaw radio and video promotion for BRITNEY SPEARS, P!NK, JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE, CHRIS BROWN and USHER. RICCITELLI held that position until 2007 when he was named EVP/Promotion. In 2011, he was appointed EVP/Promotion at RCA RECORDS, which was then newly re-launched.
Most recently, RICCITELLI has led his team to secure hit records for P!NK, KELLY CLARKSON, ALICIA KEYS and KE$HA and continues to champion the label's burgeoning superstars MIGUEL and WALK THE MOON.
Said TOM CORSON, "JOE has done such a tremendous job leading the way to success for many of our superstar and developing artists. Now is the time to widen his portfolio within the company and contribute his leadership to our licensing and brand partnership efforts on behalf of our unparalleled artist roster."
RICCITELLI added, "PETER EDGE and TOM CORSON have done an amazing job of leading the premier team industry wide. We all share a common goal of being the top label in the business. The winning spirit of the company can be felt by everyone. I am truly excited to be a part of the bright future of this legendary label."
